Gluten free & vegan - the perfect protein packed brekky



Superfood bircher

Makes approx. 6 C with each serving being 1/3 C

Ingredients

  • 1 C hemp seeds

  • 1 C chia seeds

  • 1 C almond meal (I just freshly grind almonds in my blender)

  • 1/2 C shredded coconut

  • 1/2 C flax seeds (linseed)

  • 1/2 C sesame seeds

  • 1/2 C rolled oats (gluten free)

  • 1/2 C pumpkin seeds

  • 1/2 C sunflower seeds

  • 4 dried pineapple slices, finely chopped

  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp mesquite powder

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a a large jar & stir or shake to combine.

  2. Prepare the bircher the night before by soaking 1/3 C in 3/4 C coconut ilk (or your favourite milk).

  3. In the morning serve with fresh fruit.
